Killeen Police Identifies Female Murder Victim
Killeen, TX (March 25, 2022): Killeen Police have identified the female victim as 18-year-old Revierra Elizabeth Aline Gibson.

On Friday, March 25, 2022, this case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and two complaints were returned charging 17-year-old Ruben Joel Fuentes Jr. with two counts of Murder. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson arraigned Fuentes and he set his bond at $1,000,000 on each Murder charge. Fuentes is awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail.


NEWS RELEASE: KILLEEN POLICE CONDUCT A LATE-NIGHT MURDER INVESTIGATION

Killeen, TX (March 24, 2022): Killeen Police are investigating the death of two people on Brook Drive.

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, at approximately 2:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Brook Drive in reference to a 911 call about a shooting victim. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located two deceased people with gunshot wounds. One person was subsequently taken into custody.

Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson pronounced the 15-year-old male victim deceased at 3:26 a.m. and the unidentified female victim at 3:38 a.m. He ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.

This makes the tenth and eleventh Murder for the City of Killeen in 2022.

Alleged Killeen shooter charged in double homicide

Police identified an alleged shooter and a second victim in Thursday’s double homicide in north Killeen.

In a news release Friday evening, the Killeen Police Department named Revierra Elizabeth Aline Gibson, 18, as the second person killed during an early morning shooting in the 600 block of Brook Drive. The first victim was a 15-year-old teenage boy. Police have not released his name.

Friday, the Bell County District Attorney’s Office charged 17-year-old Ruben Joel Fuentes Jr. with two counts of murder. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson arraigned Fuentes and set his bond at $1 million for each murder charge, police said.


KPD said Fuentes is awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail as of 5 p.m. Friday.


The two deaths Thursday marked the tenth and eleventh Killeen homicides in 2022.
